The condition is near-fine with very minor wear to leather and boards. Hinges strong, text clean and tight. Byron's Werner is the first edition, first state without "The End" on page 188, and followed by 7 pages of bookseller ads. For whatever reason they were bound together, these are excellect copies of the first printings. Halidon Hill is dated 1822, Werner is dated 1823. Item #16458
